RUSSIAN LIPS
Russian lips is the latest technique used to inject dermal fillers. Unlike traditional lip fillers, the Russian lip technique involves injecting tiny droplets of dermal filler into the lips, mainly focused around the centre to achieve their signature, heart-shaped look.
The filler is injected vertically into multiple injection points and dragged upwards from the base to the top of the lip line, rather than horizontally with traditional lip fillers. Russian lips are larger in heigh rather than volume, which diminishes the duck like appearance and creates a more natural looking result.
CHEEK FILLER
Dermal filler can be injected into the cheek area to provide more definition and highlight the cheekbones.
Cheeks are the area of the face that tend to experience volume loss with age, becoming hollow as the fat pads move south. Injecting filler can restore volume and provide a more youthful appearance, whilst also lifting the mid facial area.
Dermal filler is hyaluronic acid, which naturally occurs in our skin meaning the treatment risk is minimal. It also promotes skin hydration by attracting water and is specially formulated to inject deep into the skin to add natural volume.
NASOLABIAL FOLDS
Often referred to as smile lines, nasolabial folds are the lines seen from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth. These creases become more noticeable as part of the natural ageing process. Fat is lost from the cheeks, reducing skin volume and making these folds appear deeper. Smiling naturally causes a deeper crease in this area also.
This area is easily corrected with filler to restore lost volume and soften the appearance of these creases, resulting in a softer, youthful, yet natural look to the face.
MARIONETTE LINES
Marionette lines are the lines below each corner of the mouth that can significantly add age to your face. The name is derives from Marionette Puppets, that have faces with long vertical creases. These creases give a grim or sad look to the face and occur with age, smoking and genetics can progress to form jowls later on.
It is possible to life these corners with dermal filler by adding volume and anchoring the corners higher up, helping to restore balance with the rest of the face.
CHIN FILLER
Dermal fillers in the chin can be used to enhance the overall appearance of the chin area. It helps to reduce a weak chin and smooth out irregularities through increasing volume to the area.
Anyone with a short, weak chin can benefit from this treatment. Females can benefit from this treatment to create a longer, more feminine, heart-shaped face, resulting in a more balanced profile. Patients with a chin dimple can also benefit from chin filler to help eliminate this.
JAW FILLER
Dermal fillers in the jawline can help to define and strengthen the area. As we age, the jawline weakens. This is caused by volume loss as our natural muscle and bone mass reduces. Injecting dermal filler to the jawline will help stiffen the skin and define the chin and jowl area, resulting in a sharper jawline.
ANTI-WRINKLE
Anti-wrinkle product can be used to help freeze the movement of muscles in our foreheads. This movement leads to permanent wrinkles and lines which in turn can make us look older. Anti-wrinkle injections can be used as a preventative measure, stopping lines from forming or it can be used to soften deep existing lines.
Anti-wrinkle product can also be injected into the masseter muscle to slim the jawline.
SKIN BOOSTERS
Profhilo is an injectable skin boosting rejuvenation treatment. Unlike fillers and botox, it is not designed to add volume in the face or restrict movement in the facial muscles. This anti-ageing hydration treatment contains high levels or hyaluronic acid which penetrates through the skin to activate the production of collagen, creating plumper skin. Skin boosters work across the entire face rather than focusing on one area and are therefore great for smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, achieving a more youthful appearance.
AQUALYX™ FAT DISSOLVING
Aqualyx™ is used for the dissolution of fat deposits. It works by breaking down fat in a controlled way so that your body can safely remove it through it’s lymphatic system. Typically, Aqualyx™ required a course of two to four treatments with four to six week intervals between each session. Although the treatment doesn’t hurt, you should expect some swelling which can take up to three weeks to subside. Although the fat doesn’t come back, Aqualyx™ should only be used as a supplement to a healthy lifestyle, and is only intended for dealing with small pockets of fat rather than providing a complete weight loss solution
